Shanghai Shenanigans- The feeling of Luxury

It's the last few weeks of internship, and naturally, we threw out our mantra of saving money out the window.

RMB109 all-you-can-eat Sushi buffet at 黑方料理
RMB 73 personal steamboat extravaganza at 豆捞坊
RMB 105 on a The North Face "inspired" 55 litre backpack which was originally RMB300 (but we bargained.)
RMB 60plus Cantonese meal at critically acclaimed restaurant 港丽茶餐厅
RMB 60plus Cantonese meal at another critically acclaimed restaurant 恒山小馆
RMB 60plus for a unique chocolaty drink, Velvet Delight and other delicate chocolate snacks at The Velvet Noir

We're finally living like those rich tai-tais. Sooner or later one of us will be wearing a cheongsam, holding up a classy paper fan, be driven around in a Rolls Royce and eat only at The Bund. That is, if our resources don't already run out, which we have to then sell our butts at taobao.com.

At last, we are living like the "chao ang mos" here, instead of the 外地人 from poorer countries which we were labeled as before (because we always bargained till they thought we really were damn poor).

Muahahaha.
